Chicken fried steaks were like school lunches - frozen and all exactly alike with no taste. VERY disappointed. Steak was average, philly cheese steak sandwich was average and chicken fried steaks were terrible. Two people in our group thought the potatoes tasted like instant. The hot thrown rolls were good and the staff was all very pleasant however the food leaves a lot to be desired.
Steak was beyond salty.. Served corn on the cob that had definitely been warmed up about three times too many.. Baked potato was cold.. The rolls were good but very hard to obtain.. only once during our visit they were offered.. If the poor quality of food was not enough to make me never want to return... Me and my sister were ran over by a staff member while trying to make our exit...my sister was almost knocked down for this lady to lock the doors to the restaurant.. Placed a to go order, and that process should have been enough of a warning to just go somewhere else. Worst chicken fried steak I’ve ever had! It’s jus a big round version of Dairy Queen steak finger, and it was way over cooked. Low end canned green beans and canned bake beans for sides, rolls were dry common store bought rolls. Baked potato was the only thing edible. Terrible place, AVOID!
We had been there frequently in he past and went back because the food and service was great. This time it was AWFUL and we won't go back. The $14 burger was a frozen patty, the CF Steak came out cold. the gravy looked like it was poured on the potatoes yesterday. the party meltn had no flavor, the brisket was tender(at least the small.portion that wasn't fat). The service was poor. Never came back to ask how things were. No refills on drinks and never received our rolls. The food was mediocre. I would not recommend this place.
