Vasile Faklis First fitted me for my first pair of custom orthotics back in 2014 Before I ran the New York City Marathon. As an avid distance runner , I was having a lot of problems with my feet in regular running shoes. I am an active senior. I suffered for many years with pain, calluses, and blisters on my toes and balls of both feet. Vasile Faklis quickly diagnosed my problem and ordered the correct type of orthotics to distribute the weight and pressure in my feet.I have been pain free for 6 months. I am so thankful for my feet to feel normal again! I want to encourage everyone who is considering visiting their shop to please do it soon, I only wish I'd made an appointment years ago.
I first heard of Vasile through my wife. many podiatrists know of him and his reputation. He built my wife's necessary orthotic after her bout with MRSA left her permanently deformed. I decided to consult him to see if he could shed some light on my pronation issues. Due to his expertise, I've returned to enjoying my runs as painless as possible.
I am on my second pair of inserts and thank goodness I found Vasile at Faklis Dept store to help my abused feet. He has helped me to be able to Train all day and run on wknds! I bought a pair of the Activator inserts to help with chronic Plantar Fasciitis. I liked this insert much more than any other I have tried. So much so, that I bought a second pair of Activators for my street shoes. I highly recommend them.
