Wanted to save some money and save a headache, unfortunately this experience was both. Also, they don’t have an extensive understanding of the law and what people are entitled to such as commingling of inheritance etc. When I spoke up I was immediately shot down and ignored.. wasn’t even looked into. Unless you and your ex-partner are 100% aligned, capable of rational discussion, and both willing to compromise on everything, this process may not serve you.
