As a veterinarian aren't you required to make an oath vowing to care for the lives of all animals? I guess pit bulls must be the exception.
Absolutely ridiculous to deny an animal care because of its breed. Chihuahuas are just as violent (if not more so) than most pitbulls. Absolutely disgusted by this.
Apparently this Veterinary Clinic is not run by true Veterinarians. To decide not to treat a sentient being that is suffering because of its breed? SHAME ON YOU!! Our 3 month old puppy was refused treatment at this facility. When we questioned the staff about it, they said it was because she was a pit bull and they would not treat her here. I have never had that happen before and am shocked. However, we found a new vet that saw us the same day and got the treatment our puppy needed.
For me there is nowhere else and Stanly County to take my pets. these people are so amazing at what they can do, and how they care
