I called to schedule an appointment for my dog and they said they "don't see his breed". He is a pit bull and is nicer than my boxer/lab mix. I asked the reason and was told that the doctor has chosen not to see that breed anymore. To me that is discrimination.

Shame on you. I hope you go out of business for not treating a sick pit bull puppy. They are innocent. I will make sure everyone boycotts you

As a veterinarian aren't you required to make an oath vowing to care for the lives of all animals? I guess pit bulls must be the exception. I have worked in the Veterinary field for over 20yrs and have never been bitten by a pitbull!!

Deserves no stars at all since they DISCRIMINATE which dogs they will and will not treat. If you can't see my pitbull mix, then you sure as hell would never be trusted to care for my Boston Terrier or Shepherd mix. If your heart is not in caring for ALL breeds, get out of the business! It's that simple.

I have worked for vets for over 25 years (including private practice, as well as a referral center) and never heard of refusing to treat a specific breed. I can understand if you had a patient who was so aggressive that it put staff in danger, but to refuse to treat ALL dogs of a specific breed is mind blowing to me. Staff safety is certainly of utmost importance, but this is a discredit to the profession of Veterinary Medicine. Shame on you.

Wow.. I would never let you take care of any animal of mine. This is truly a sad day when a vet will not take care of an ill animal. You should be ashamed of yourselves.

Wow, must be nice to consider yourself the God of animals and therefore decide on who can and cannot receive treatment. I sure hope your clients hear about this and take their pets to a more humane vet. I wouldn't let you within 10 feet of a living being.
