I visited the U for testing to be a kidney donor. I have never been so impressed with a clinic experience. From the moment I pulled up the the valet parking (only $6 and so convenient) to my final check in, I felt taken care of. I visited the lab (3x), got xrays, a CT scan, blood drawn, IV and contrast work, plus I talked to a team including a surgeon, doc, social worker, and dietician. Everyone was so friendly and made me feel so comfortable and at ease. Professional, courteous, and every appointment was on time if not ahea... read more
I arrived at 510 at the ER, after being told by urgent care to get to the nearest ER. It was 5 hours until I was seen by a doctor, and I was finally allowed to leave nearly 8 1/2 hours after I arrived. The waiting room was full, with most people waiting 4 hours to be seen. And the air conditioning was out. Nothing like being surrounded by sick & injured people in an 80° room. My symptoms were ignored for hours. It was awful.
David Jewison, MD, and his team provided exceptional service at the Orthopaedic Clinic at the University of Minnesota. I was in and out in thirty minutes with everything I needed. Thank you Doctor Jewison. I was impressed.
They saved my life twice!! All the hospital, including housekeeping, were all so kind & helpful. I live in the suburbs of St. Louis MO & I will forever fly/drive to Minnesota so that I can continue to be under the care of Dr. Dunn, who is why I am so blessed to say I have another day here in this life. Thank you Dr. Dunn & to everyone at Fairview Hospital of the University of Minnesota
A couple of nurses were cool but for the love of God the "team of doctors" don't even communicate with each other. I was woken up and asked the exact same set of questions by 7 doctors in a 48hr period. Not to mention labs that I didn't need 3x a day. I had enough of students using me as a pincushion to learn. The marks left from the blood draws are ridiculous.
