RecommendedGreat staff. Great care. The food is pretty decent. you get to order off the menu with lots of nice choices. No free parking or validations so be prepared to pay parking ramp fees.

Great staff at the maternity ward! Everyone was super nice and supportive. Shout out to nurses Claire, Nikki, Lesley and Cindy! Also big thanks to Denise and Dr. Bigos! Food portions could be bigger (for some items) and it also took a LONG time for them to bring it. Order early ;)
This is my sister Abbiya Taylor, she’s 21 years old. On July 17th she was admitted to Abbott Northwestern Hospital and diagnosed with Cerebral Venues Sinus Thrombosis. By the time she was finally admitted she had been to Abbott several times as well as Fairview Southdale Hospital and misdiagnosed. These hospitals failed her, the doctors failed her, the nurses and staff all failed her. Her health dramatically declined between May and June. Today she sits in a coma. I had my first cataract eye surgery there on 8-21-19. The eye care center closed that day forever.
On July 4th 2019 my 5 year old was attacked by a 150lb German Shepherd. The dog bit him 3 times on his face & clawed his left cheek. We rushed him to Fairview SouthDale Hospital where he received Very Good Care! They gave him anti nausea medication because he was throwing up, They started him on an oral Antibiotic due to the dog bites, & they cleaned his bites up & put numbing cream on his face so they could stitch him up. I love the doctors and the care, but the hospital beds are beyond tortuous. I was there a little more than a day and a half. I had more pain from the bed than I did from my incisions. When I told any of the staff, everyone said that they were very expensive. I need knee replacement surgery and will have to find another hospital. I will never survive the pain of those beds again. The only sleep I got was during my surgery.
