Hello, my sister was a resident at Fairview for over twenty years. I am writing a memoir about our lives. I am trying to find out when Fairview opened it's unit for blind residents. Does anyone know? I worked at FDC since I was 14 yrs old. Volunteer til 18 then Hospital Worker for 2 yrs. Then school for 2 yrs. Amputated my rt. Index fingertip in 2007. Then retired 2013. Miss everyone.
It is one of the best most interesting campus ever. I have literally loved working here for 40 plus years.
