This is one of the most beautiful spots in Philadelphia. It’s like stepping into another world especially to get a fix of nature for city dwellers. It makes for unique engagement and wedding photos too!
Worked here as a Seasonal Maintenance Attendant with Fairmount Park for 2 summers..6 months in 2012-2013. Loved everyone I worked with. Beautiful hidden gem tucked in between the Philadelphia Zoo and other landmarks... you can come here on a beautiful spring afternoon, sit down on a bench, read a book or just stroll through the beautiful gardens..If you ever are in the area, stop by the Hort Center!
