Great find... – What a great find just off of Michigan Ave. The food was a great mix with both vegetarian and regular food. The decor was so relaxing I could see why business people were there. The only draw back would be our server who was less than attentive, maybe because we weren't in suits. Even when we left he couldn't thank us or give us a good bye. The chef, manager, and hostess were most gracious. I would definitely go back again but I will be prepared to speak up!!
Great food – while I'm not the biggest fan o the location, this place has good food.
A Very Glamourous and Beautiful Salon – The colorist Allison and her assistant Rachel have lovingly and patiently transformed my hair to a very beautiful blonde!! I thank them from my heart. wow wow never fails to amaze – My husband and I are world travelers. We've been to some of the greatest resorts and hotels in places like Dubai, Spain, Bahamas, etc etc. The point is, we've been to all and seen it all and yet at the end of the end I want my head to rest on none other than a Plaza hotel suite bed. Histoy & Luxury – Luxury at its best I have to say. Any ime we stay in The Plaza when we come from London we get the extra attention and extra care. It is very good stay for a business trip overseas. All the amenities and Barocco apartments with 18th century furniture are the must to be used at least once to fall in love with this place. No detail is left alone without staff attention. Hotel Dining at its Worst!!!!!!! – First of all i wanna say that i stayed at the Fairmont few times and always received excellent service, too bad i can;t say the same thing about their restaurant. Food Born Illness – My boyfriend and I had the unfortunate experience of dining at The Georgian the night before Thanksgiving. Instead of spending Thanksgiving day with friends and family, the day was spent throwing up from 3 am to 5 pm. This not only ruined our Thanksgiving plans, but also the next 4 days as we tried to recover. It took 5 calls to various managers before I heard a response to my complaint. Needless to say, I will never dine at The Georgian again.
You'll never want to go home. – I loved it here! I've never been to a resort more peaceful. The rooms were cleaned spotless everyday, the spa was excellent, I have never been treated so well, well, maybe never is too generous, the Four Seasons Troon North is excellent too. Anyway, you'll never wanna go home. The shopping was great and a lot of fantastic restaurants nearby. I will definitely come back -- with a girl of a much better character next time.
Oh. My. God. Absolutely dazzling! – We've dined at the Georgian before and liked it. This was our first trip since the menu revamp and the introduction of the seven-course tasting menu, which we chose. First, let me say, I love tasting menus and have enjoyed them at some of the best restaurants in the country -- Per Se, Gary Danko, and even the Herbfarm here in Seattle.
