Room is small. 1st day, water is not hot and there is not enough flow. I informed front desk and they fixed it. 2nd day, the water is warm and not hot. 3rd day, the water is less warmer. Flow is fixed but not temperature of water. Not a good way to start the day.
I might have gone a full 5 star, but two things held me back. Pluses: Saturday desk person was very nice/helpful. Breakfast was cleaned out by some very rude people (picture 3 plates each) at 10 minutes before it ended, BUT staff made the 6-8 of who missed out some more eggs and sausage. Clean rooms/sheets/towels. Housekeeping stopped in while we were out, even though I said they could skip us. I am a local resident who booked a room for a Valentine’s getaway with my husband to have some quiet time away from the kids. Unfortunately, our stay was completely ruined as the hotel was hosting several youth soccer teams. Kids were staying alone in rooms without any coaches, causing significant noise and disruption. They were running and screaming up and down the halls at all hours. We booked a prepaid stay through the hotel website. After a full day of work and driving, my husband was not allowed to check us in because the reservation was under my name. In over 20 years of traveling, I've always been the one to make the reservation and my husband has always been the one to check in. My frustration was immediately met with hostility at the front desk. She argued with me that ALL hotels operated this way and then chided me over how I choose to travel.
