were were told no pool due to covid19 when I can see next door at the Hampton inn there are kids playing in the pool. also we were told we would have to go to the Hampton inn for our breakfast as well. what a RIP off I paid good money to stay here. if i would have know i would have stayed at the Hampton inn. when I called and asked if there was any restrictions at the hotel they failed to motions any of this. BEWARE of this place. and dont waste your money.
Stayed at Fairfield inn in Abilene a couple weeks ago, woke up and grandson slept in couch bed and woke up crying from a lot of bug bites . Not what I expected, the mgn took off $20 for two night of bugs. Don’t like causing trouble, but definitely won’t stay there again. Took him to the doctor and was on medicine for a week.
Stayed here last night. Our room smelled just like an old moldy place, found a roach crawling around our counter in the bathroom....the tub itself had black all over the grout as well as huge “patches” in the tub. Not a pleasant stay.
When check in is 3pm I’d expect to be able to check in. Instead we arrived at 5:30 only for us to have to sit in the lobby (full of others) because they had no rooms ready with 2 small children absolutely ridiculous! Didn’t get our room till about 6:30pm. I’m so unhappy with this visit. Don’t bother with the place save your money! When I tried to get ahold of a manager none was available go figure last night. After our room at the Courtyard by Marriot was sold out from under us, The two young ladies at the Fairfield went above and beyond to help us out. I believe one of their names was Kylie... and the other name started with a K as well, but I cannot remember her name. They were awesome! The room was very clean, the staff was great, AND the room was already cooled off when we got to it! Thank you Fairfield Inn for a great stay!
The staff needs to learn their job skills and the price of snacks are unrealistic [ $3.50 for a coke! ]
Usual standard of excellence from Fairfield. Great front end staff, breakfast staff very friendly and room was outstanding. Our third visit here and highly recommended
