After checking in late in the evening. I seen a note telling us the water would be turned off at 10:00pm..We had 5 mins before no water for the night. Had she explained before checking me in I could have went elsewhere. That should have been the first thing told to me. We survived and after that the rest of the staff was awesome and we enjoyed our stay.
If I could give zero stars, this hotel would have it. There were roaches in the room. Cracked tile and mold in the bathroom. And managers that are shady. We were charged for an extra night by the manager after she personally changed our reservation the night prior. She claimed it was a misunderstanding on her part, but refused to fix the issue.Unacceptable. if you would like to be ripped off by all means, stay here otherwise stay away.
The staff are friendly, helpful and know what they’re doing. The room I stayed in is in dire need of an update. Outdated, worn out and falling apart in places. On the bright side it was clean and smelled fresh, and the bed was comfy.
Most importantly the hotel was clean. The furniture is worn but the room was comfortable and the AC worked great. the breakfast choices were okay. typical waffle, egg, Cold Cereal options. Coffee and tea all day.
Great place to stay with kids! Comfortable beds, one of the best breakfast we have ever tasted in a hotel, and just 10 min away from the NC Zoo. Highly recommend for families. Unfortunately we did not get to check out the pool and gym since we had a tight schedule! Would definitely stay there again if we were ever in that area again!
