Nice clean hotel. We had a fairly decent sized room. We had a pleasant stay.
I've stayed at hotel twice now and both times have been great. It's nothing fancy, but it's clean, the rooms are big, and the staff is friendly. The breakfast was standard free breakfast, but we enjoyed it. $20 for parking does feel a bit steep for Des Moines though.
The lovely Mary was kind enough to help us out with an emergency late night check in, the room was huge and the bed was maybe the comfiest thing I’ve ever experienced
The room was fine and clean. There was a group of college girls in the room next to us that blasted music till 3 am. After attempting to call the front desk 4 times at midnight and no one answering, I gave up and just laid awake till they turned it off. When raising my concerns with the front desk in the morning, they were less than helpful. I asked the guy there if he was there last night because I had attempted to call, he replied no.
