Recommended"Honest mechanic" has been an oxymoron for as long as the automobile has been in existence, but not these folks! The team is honest, responsive, professional and does excellent work at a fair price! I started taking my cars to them for service a little over a year ago and my only disappointment is that I didn't do it sooner! The fact that they are only a 20 minute walk from my office is just the icing on the cake. They have a forever customer in me.
I just picked up my car and I'm so happy I decided to try out your business! I pulled in after 5 p.m. yesterday, and you accommodated me with an appointment first thing this morning. I was actually embarrassed at how dirty it was when I brought it in! it was well overdue for a car wash and there were enough crumbs on the floor to feed a 3rd world country! LOL I picked it up a short while ago, and it is clean and running beautifully again. Thank you. I will absolutely be back!
I work across the street at Fairfield Collision and had work done here a couple times. These guys are super knowledgeable and friendly. They diagnosed the issue with my motor within 5 minutes and we’re able to fix it in under 30. I highly recommend this shop. Thanks for all the help
We pulled into their shop with our 36 ft. motor home with serious brake problems. We basically had no brakes. We were passing through the area on an extended trip and did not have an appointment. John Bogardus and his team were extremely helpful and courteous, diagnosed our problem and were willing to work well past closing time to fix our brakes. Took my car to Fairfield Auto after having problems with the car dealer in Westchester County. Also ran over the curb and had some strange noises when applying the gas. I was early for my appointment but John/David took me right away and did a perfect job. I will never go back to the dealer again and it was worth my trip from NY to Fairfield Auto because they are good but you can TRUST them. I recommend them without reservation.
Just stopped in for a tire to be mounted (Townfair tire has issues)...Hooked me up, no charge! Class Act!!
I’ve been getting my oil changed here for about a year and yesterday i had a flat tire. Called them and the two owners took time out of their lunch break to come help me out!
My car was giving me trouble and so without an appointment I pulled into Fairfield Automotive Service. John was beyond nice and immediately hopped in and drove my car around to figure out the problem. He was quick, efficient, extremely nice, and figured out the problem in no time! I'm only in the area during the school year, but anytime I have another issue in the area, I would never think of anyplace besides here! Recommend it for anyone around Fairfield!
