Fairfax Cooling and Heating has been maintaining our 4 residential HVAC systems in McLean for 20+ years. Each system is different, each has their quirks, and Miki and his crew have been able to keep them running at full capacity. All units are 20+ yrs old. They perform both the spring & fall check ups, add juice when needed, and have diagnosed and resolved a multitude of performance issues- as they arise. -Carolyn J.

Mike was quick to respond and available quickly to my house. He spent maybe 10’ diagnosing and suggested we need a new circuit breaker which was tripping. I replaced it and the issue still remains. I was still charged $125 for his diagnosing fee. I didnt bother with the charge as it is standard but his diagnosis was not accurate and didnt help at all. We recently had a new heat pump and air handlers installed with Fairfax Cooling and Heating and were very pleased with the process/result! Mike was responsive and clear about our options, did not try to upsell us, had a competitive bid, and had his team installing quickly. When we had a small follow-up question, he came out personally on a Sunday morning to double check and adjust our thermostat settings. Would definitely recommend!

We have been happy customers of Fairfax Cooling and Heating for years. They installed our current AC and furnace and we have been very satisfied with both. They make sure they set you up with the best appliance available so you do not have issues. Their prices are incredibly fair and they are very knowledgeable , courteous, and prompt. We highly recommend them!

This company is absolutely superlative in every respect. They installed three zones for us five years ago. This morning we awoke to a hot and humid upstairs. I called Terri who was very sick but managed to get in touch with Michael, who was here within an hour on a weekend to fix our upstairs and most important zone. It was hot and humid.
