RecommendedIt is wonderful- we have been going there since they opened with a little interruption this year as on a special diet. Great food and all side are yummy.
My client and I went in last week to get baked potatoes they said they had only two left and it’ll be 10 minutes 10 minutes turned into 20 minutes and when we got the baked potatoes it was actually one baked potato that they cut in half, where they do this at? I called them to ask if they me a whole potato or half a potato the owner then said I ain’t gonna lie it was a large potato so I cut it in half! Never again!
I’ve been eating here just about every week, and the food is always a 10/10. Texas Q is good but there’s something about this Tennessee Q that keeps you coming back for more. On top of that - Mr and Mrs Fain are two of the nicest and most welcoming people you’ll ever meet. To put it simply, it’s great people and great food. Also - their peach cobbler is some of the best I’ve ever had!
The female owner has a bad attitude. This business appears to be professional online but the storefront is run down and out dated. Unclean facility, negative vibes from the owner when I asked how the bbq was cooked. I will never go back to this place.
Best bbq I’ve ever had - but the real magic is Jamie and Karen, husband and wife owners who make you feel like family. We were just traveling through, stopped for takeout, stayed and stayed to chat with them. Highlight of a long day and a great place for weary travelers to feel at home.
Absolutely the highlight of our Houston trip- the most wonderful couple, Jamie and Karen Fain fed us the most wonderful BBQ dinner: pulled pork, chopped beef brisket, baked beans, coleslaw, and a tart corn salad passed down from Karen’s mom along with a spicy, vinegary hot sauce that brought a tear to this Carolina girl’s eye. Great people and wonderful food
Everything was good, but the pulled pork, sausage and bbq spicy sauce were great! Great overall experience!
I have had the grand opportunity to have the Fain’s cater my future Mother In Law’s 90th Birthday party and my engagement party. Great meat choices and wonderful sides. I can’t wait until our next event.
