Went for restaurant week got pasta shells with bits of crab not impressed. The view made up for it wouldn’t eat dinner here again
I’d rate this restaurant a 3/5. It’s a beautiful spot but I was unimpressed by the food. A coworker told me before going that she had gotten sick from a scallop entree in the past. But, I had read reviews so we decided to give it a try. The short rib buns were so salty that we couldn’t even eat them. The “Charlotte nachos” tasted just as good as ordering them from a sports bar. I’ll definitely come back for drinks but we will skip the food.
The food was excellent but wasn’t impressed by the service. The waitress seemed distracted and she forgot to ask how I wanted my filet cooked. When I called her back, she said I had told her but it was someone else’s order. We didn’t see her much and had to chase her down for the basics - water and utensils. Also, the restaurant was incredibly cold. People were wearing coats while eating.
Calamari was terrible, service was AWFUL and the restaurant was extremely overpriced for what was received. Will not be returning
