Hands down one of the best steaks I’ve ever had. As a first time diner at TFR, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but the atmosphere was great for a Friday night. First, We tried the Crawfish Bread Reine appetizer. It was warm, cheesy, deliciousness. I had the ribeye steak ala Rosa (medium rare) with a loaded baked potato and the Creole soaked salad. I knew I would be back just for the salad, but the steak was perfection. This is one of my favorite new dining spots in LR and I look forward to trying other menu items soon.
I ate the veggie soup and the gumbo, both were delicious. We shared a piece of the banana cake, Yummy!
Stop in here every year for shrimp and grits. Can't seem to copy the recipe. Be there in a couple of weeks. Hope the chef will share with me.
Food was very good, sitting on the patio on such a beautiful night was great. Took a little while to get the service going - but once the first drink orders were taken the service was very good. One of my favorite restaurants.
It was ok! Our waitress was not the best. Did not keep drinks filled I had to get extra silverware from the entry of the Resturant. I did like the fried shrimp. Also tasted the thin fish someone had ordered. I liked it too. We plan on trying it again. I ate at the Faded Rose many many years ago. I never think to go there! We went Sunday afternoon. They did not have much business. We will try again sometime.

We love so many things on the menu, that it's always hard to decide. Everything is delicious! I'd put it up against any NOLA restaurant!
This is our go to restaurant year round. Inside or outside dining. Food, drink, service is always top notch. The soaked salad is legendary!!
