Enjoyed my grilled shrimp Po Boy, not a big fan of my soaked salad, brothers muffuletta bread was a tad thick but we had GREAT service by a friendly server!
The salad dressing was oily & sirloin steak had too much grease. I asked for no onions & steak arrived with onions on top. After two bites of the greasy steak I got sick. I hoped my stomach would settle but it didn't. We had to cut our date night short.

I love good fried oysters but it’s difficult to find them done right. That being said The Faded Rose knows their stuff because every single time I’ve ordered them they’ve been perfect. Smaller in size but super tender with a light flavorful crust and not overly fishy (cause that’s kind of a turn off). I highly recommend you go to The Faded Rose if you love oysters or your just in the mood for a little taste of New Orleans! Prices are reasonable as well, especially lunch.
The ribeye a la Rosa is my favorite restaurant steak by far.
I’m originally from New Orleans so my taste buds are a little different. So I will not comment on the food. The atmosphere and the customer service was excellent.
