My son was diagnosed with a tongue tie and was referred to Mehwish for Myofunctional Therapy. My son’s primary issues were teeth grinding during his sleep, mouth breathing, and tightening of facial muscles, amongst others. My son and I were evaluated for a tongue-tie, and we were referred to Mehwish for myofunctional therapy. Our goal was to have our tongue ties surgically released but what we ended up with after working with Mehwish was of so much more benefit. Not only was Mehwish pleasant to work with, but she was also thorough and paced our treatment plans for maximum benefit.
