The Japanese gardens are beautiful looking, but have yet to go in becausenthe hours are so limited. It’s actually pretty frustrating that such a gem to dupage is rarely open

This is a beautiful forest preserve park and excellent historical house tour.
I just invited about 60 people, somehow connected with the Silvestri or Alberti families to this page.... Silvio Silvestri and his wife Rosa Alberti Silvestri lived at the estate while he did cement work sculptures in the gardens there... they lived in a house that when I saw the location in the 1990's you could see the foundation among the trees growing there... Silvio and Rosa had grandchildren and nieces and nephews .... and we are all admire this lovely place through your posts!
The Japanese Garden is beautiful and the guide was very helpful .
