RecommendedAfter verifying they were in network with my insurance provider, I made an appointment. I went in and the staff was friendly. I immediately started picking out frames as I knew I was most likely going to need glasses. The girl helped me pick some. My doctor was awesome. Very knowledgeable and listened to concerns I had. After, I picked my final frame choice with a guy who was extremely friendly and helpful.
I called to ask what the prescription was of the glasses I’m currently wearing, the ones they prescribed and I bought from them. They lady on the phone refused to tell me lens prescription after she verified all my information confirming I was a previous customer, and instead aligned herself with “it’s the law” while saying I have to book a new appointment. After many years of great care by Dr. Gelbuda I needed to find a new place last year. Last September I tried Eyesite. After what seemed like a bit over the top of an appointment I walked out with a new pair of glasses that cost me app. $450 at the time. This was supposedly after my VSP insurance was applied. Yesterday I received a bill(9 months after the service) for app. $200 because apparently the Dr. said to bill my health insurance instead of my vision. RecommendedMy daughter recently scratched her eye and Dr. Beth went above and beyond to help. She squeezed us in on a busy Saturday and even checked in with us on a Sunday to make sure my daughter was doing ok. I highly recommend eye site!
