Dr. Mitchell was a good doctor as far as I remember. But the current receptionist & billing know nothing about ins & are aggressive with collection. It seems the money is all they care about; zero customer service skills. Insisted I pay the full cost before being seen bcuz I hadn't met my deductible. I said I'd pay the Medicare fee schedule amount. Needless to say I wasn't seen. Medicare covers eyecare if there's a medical issue, not just basic eyecare. My kids have been going for years sense we found out they needed glasses and he is wonderful he explains everything to them and makes them feel like they can trust him
Dr. Mitchell is an excellent doctor. He takes his time and gives you a thorough exam. The receptionist is so friendly and accommodating. Hats off to Eyes over Carolina.
