For you own sake avoid Brain at all cost he has zero problems yelling at you in front of your kids!!! Today bc there was an incident with my child at home bc I was sleeping like a normal human during normal sleeping hours I was screamed at that I'm a bad parent bc where was the supervision(sleeping like most people at this time of day duh!). They never have a medication provider available; despite being told to come here for refills. This new place is a lot worse than the previous urgent care in the area it replaced.
Ive been going to eyerly ball for 8 years and have had some good therapists but most of them dont stay longer than a year. Communication and effort to maintain a relationship with a therapist at eyerly ball is almost impossible. If you actually need help they might make you feel worse than when you got there. I was in a program called restore for people that suffered from psychosis and met a friend in group who was a really good guy. Front desk was pleasant.Left with no treatment against my best efforts to receive treatment. Overall attitude that we were wasting their time after I filled out an hours worth of paperwork. We were told to go to the ER and they wouldn’t provide care. I can’t afford ER supervision but I can afford a walk in clinic. Unbelievable the state of mental health care in the state of Iowa. None of these places deserve your money or time. It might feel hopeless right now but this location will confirm your fears.
They say they serve Dallas County for case management. Upon review of my case I was denied case management because I live in Dallas County. They new this from the intake so a sudden policy change undermines the necessary trust for any mental health treatment from them. Hence I will not see them for any services
