Very helpful with determining insurance coverage and in getting the most for our money. Once the frames were picked out we paid our co-pay and glasses were ready 28 minutes later. As a newbie to progressive lenses, they spent plenty of time helping me get comfortable with them before I left the store. A very pleasant experience overall.
First off my 3 stars is for a decent experience and not bad. Went in for eye exam and some glasses so first order of business was the eye exam. The receptionist was great and friendly. She could joke around and make the first part of the exam fun. Second part was waiting for Dr. Shepard in his office. Once he walked i got the impression like he hated his job/life. Personally, I like this office and staff and have used their services multiple times. I like that they're well-priced and straight forward; no dilly-dallying or long waits. Some reviews seem to indicate they wish Dr. Shepard had more bedside manner, but I've always found his interactions to be polite and straight forward--perhaps these folks are looking for more affectionate personalities to engage with their children or to have extended conversations beyond a basic eye exam. My experience here was great. It was the only place I could find on a friday night where I could get a walk-in eye exam. The optometrist even stayed late when I came in last minute. Everyone else who helped me was so friendly, professional and informative. I walked out just over an hour later with two pairs of glasses that im more happy with than anything I've found anywhere else. The price was very competitive.
