I have been an established patient with this office for a few years now, but no longer! The most incompetent front office I have ever dealt with! There is always something with them! And I have always been really patient. The last straw: First, They ordered the wrong contacts (mosit vs. Oasys). I went back there the next day as I realized the mistake. Buyer beware Dr. Nick don’t trust him he’s a smooth talker he’ll try to get you to buy more than one pair glasses then charge you in an astronomical amount of money go somewhere else and get some glasses please
Dr. Sladky should stick to being a doctor and not try to sell anything. He's a great doctor but a terrible businessman. I wanted to support a local, small business, but my experience here was so poor that I'd rather go to a larger company with better checks and balances. Here, if you're dissatisfied you have no recourse. Save yourself the headache and go elsewhere.
I was pleased I went in before reading the recommendations from others on this site, or I probably would have been influenced by someone else before finding out myself. As far as I can see from prior comments most people liked the doctor...it was his staff. Well that has improved. They were friendly, they spoke to me when I walked in. The family got glasses and contacts here. Everyone was very nice and helpful. I'm not going anywhere else! I definitely recommend Eyelusions!
Incredibly rude, unhelpful, ignorant people. There are SO many things that were wrong with the way I was treated, both in person and over the phone, that it is hard to list all of their transgressions without writing too much. The two staff members, one Latina with long brown hair and blond highlights and a Caucasian woman in surgical scrubs and long blonde hair, were present while I browsed frames. Gird your Loins Before Entering – I was shopping in the area and happened to walk by...spotted the huge selection eye glass frames through the window and went in to look. Friendly staff and funny too. Thought it would be a great fit..needed a new eye dr. anyway. Doctor is OK, Service SUCKS, Big Time – Background: Just moved to Sac and looking for a new OD, been wearing glasses and contacts for 21 years! Have had to multiple OD's. Experience: I have pretty horrible vision and have had major problems in the past with my eyes, so I am very specific and savy when it comes to visiting an OD. OMG....I'm stuck with this pair for 2 yrs? – I have been going there since 2008, the Dr. is good at what he does. Although he talks incessantly about his products and can be confusing. His new staff though is why I will most likely not be going back. The manager is a great sales man and thats all he is there for. You will walk out thinking this man helped with picking out a pair of glasses only to find he didn't . I got stuck with just the fugliest pair of glasses believing every word this guy said.
