I had my Lasik procedure done by Dr. Phinney about a month ago and haven't had any issues other than a little bit of dry eyes, which only lasted about 2 weeks. I still continue to use the lubricating eye drops just for good measure. :) The procedure was bumpy at first because I would not keep my eyes open and was squeezing them, which is a BIG No-No. :0 Lol..But the nursing staff and doctor Phinney were all great & were able to overcome my fears and get me to relax. I've never been to Eye Surgeons Associates until today (at least not as a patient) and I have to say every associate that I came in contact with from the receptionists, to the young lady that did my preliminary, to Dr Hansol, I couldn't have been treated with anymore kindness and professional service. It had been several years since last exam, and it was explained on every exam that was given to me of what it specifically was for, which helped me relax. I suffered from hearing loss for many years. Some of you may not know that Eye Surgeons offers the same high quality service with hearing aids as they do with eye care. I was so pleased to find Kat Klauer at Eye Surgeons In Rock Island. She is the best. I was tested and fitted with a great pair of stylish, almost invisible hearing aids. They really give back a part of my life I was missing.

Had lasik performed Monday Sep 15, 2014. I have to say that the staff and Dr Phinney are not just professional but also a great group of people. I had my follow up visit this morning the day after and have 20/20 vision. I have been dependant on glasses for over 25 years and look forward to the next 20+ years not wearing them. Wish I would have made this decision a long time ago.

Just got LASIK done 2 days ago. I'm so glad I did it and should have done it a long time ago! I was very nervous but Dr. Phinney and his staff are wonderful! I would recommend them to anyone.

I had traditional bladeless lasik done yesterday and couldn't be happier. It was completely painless and so incredibly worth it. I don't know why I waited so long to do it. I would recommend it to anyone considering it. Dr. Phinney and his entire staff were top notch. Thanks so much!!

I've been going to Eye Surgeons Associates ever since I first needed glasses at age 5 (I'm now 28). I wouldn't have gone anywhere else to have LASIK surgery, and I was not disappointed! Dr. Phinney and the staff were extremely informative and honest about the range of results I may experience after the surgery. They took the time to answer all of my questions and were extremely knowledgeable. It's such a great feeling to be able to see without contacts or glasses. I had a wonderful experience with Eye Surgeons Associates!
