The Eye Specialist of Florida has, without a doubt, the worst customer service I’ve experienced in over 60 years. They repeatedly failed to return my calls after I left messages. I have keratoconus and specifically requested an appointment with an ophthalmologist, waited three months, and showed up only to be seen by an optometrist. The VA referred me there for a completely different appointment, but it was never scheduled because Billing claimed the VA hadn’t been paying for other veterans’ appointments. I have received care at both the Haines city office as well as Winterhaven where I had my cataract removed. I have found every single person employed here knowledgeable, professional and extremely thoughtful and considerate.
