He does his procedures at the orthopedic surgery on airport. I was highly disappointed with their service. I was made to come in at 730 am my surgery was not untill 9am. I was told they had 4 other patients set for the same time. They put dilating drop on my eye with out checking my vitals at 9am then was told to go sit back in the lobby. I was in the lobby for another 30 to 40 min. When i was finaly brought back for caderacs surgery. My blood pressure was 249/113 the Anastasiaolgis asked me. Whats wrong with you. Dr. Taupeka did my eye surgery. The muscle in my right eye had quit lifting my lid. He did an awesome job. The only issue is he also did my left eye so it would not droop to accommodate the sudden lifting of the right. The problem is he didn't do it. He let someone else do it. This wasn't cleared with me. You can definitely see the difference. I have scarring over my left eye. There is none over my right...the one he did. I just wish he would've done both. My left eye also hurt more and took twice as long to heal.

My 14 year old son had some type of growth on his eye lid that needed to be removed surgically and Dr Taupeka was recommended to us. It was a pleasant experience from beginning to end. Everyone from the front desk to the nurses to Dr Taupeka himself were pleasant and seemed genuinely concerned about his health. We were seen quickly in his office in Mobile and the surgery was scheduled quickly as well.
