Was kept waiting hours for a surgical procedure that took 20 minutes! Every time I asked for an update I was told they were waiting for a room to be available?? What is the purpose of having a scheduled appointment if you are unable to confirm that a room will be available? I was driving a friend to her appointment, was supposed to be called when it was time to pick her up. I never received a phone call from the staff. My friend ended up calling me herself.

Each time I had an appointment for an eye exam of sorts; I was there for over an hour to 2 plus hours. My time is as valuable as yours. Thus, have some regards for the patients' time. That's called respect and caring. Very disappointing. This only pertains to the clinical side, I give the surgery center side 5 stars.

Insanely long long waiting, first 2 hour waiting in waiting room, then another 2 hours waiting outside the operating room. I waited at least 4 hours to get an 8 minutes surgery done. I was told the whole process takes 2-3 hours. But I spent at least 4.5 hours for each eye surgery.

I was interested in his removing the clouded lens that was 74 years old and just seeing a "glow" of light there. Optic nerve was good! As the new lens was inserted, I saw the 2 surgical lights overhead. Soooo incredible this technique. Folliw-up tomorrow morning and other eye in 18 days! Special shout-out to nurse Pat who made me feel at home initially. I give Delaware Eye Care . They are ... read more

I would like to compliment the whole staff at the Eye Care of Delaware on their entire operation. First, when you arrive you will be seen very quickly. That's important, we all have stuff to do. Secondly, they appear to be very organized, they are expecting you and have everything you need right there. On my second visit ( I had cataract surgery on my left eye and then a week later on my right eye) they knew who I was when I walked in the door. That's very comforting. Then, during the exam everything was explained to me in d... read more
