I first came to Maddux back in August and I was first starting to socially transition. I came with some notes because I was so emotional and afraid I wouldn’t be able to talk about myself and what I wanted from the haircut. She was patient and affirming and seemed so genuinely interested in helping me. I had never in my life before actually enjoyed the experience at a salon, let alone absolutely loved the outcome. Maddux is absolutely incredible! She does mine and my husband's hair. We love her. She's very knowledgeable and non-judgemental. She's really nice and I've never had such a connection to a stylist like this. Will definitely keep coming back. I even buy products here and I've never been one to do that from a salon, but this place is very cool.
I followed Maddux here from another salon and can’t recommend her enough! She is extremely personable, professional, and knowledgeable. I can tell she truly cares about preserving the integrity of hair when it comes to coloring and is always realistic/honest about what the best approach is. I went years without getting my hair done professionally after having some disappointing experiences. I’m so happy I finally found a stylist who gets me and is truly great at what she does!
