Installed a payne product in my new addition -lasted just over 5 years with numerous leaks in between. Now needs full replacement of the inside and outside unit. Come to find out from the manufacturer had I registered the product within 90 days of install it would have had a 10 year warranty. Extreme never informed me of this. I live on the beach so I know things go quick but I have a unit that is over 10 years old with 0 issues. And now I just need to purchase all new and start over. We are disappointed in the experience you had with the Payne unit that we purchased from the manufacture and provided for you as a lower cost alternative. Unfortunately, we too experienced a few issues with the Payne products and therefore discontinued offering it as our value solution as they did not match our reliability expectations.
