great place for Sunday Brunch – I love the brunch menu at this place--- especially the baked eggs- YUM. THe outside seating is great for people watching and is not in the sun in the morning so its a great place to hang out. The service is lovely and they have a great menu for drinks and food. Highly reccommend for a brunch date with a boy/girl friend or even parents!
Best French Toast in the City... – A few friends and I headed over to Extra Virgin for brunch one Saturday morning. The place was very busy and crowded, which could only be a good sign about the food. We all ordered different items off the menu. My choice was the french toast... it was amazing! I think I talked about how much I enjoyed my brunch for the next 3 days. I will definitely stop by again for brunch and hope to try dinner there as well.
Great neighborhood place – Had a great dinner here. Uncomfortable wait at the bar but once we were seated the food and service were excellent. Would definitely recommend.
Great Restaurant – Since I've been personally and libelous insulted by an individual who goes by the eloquent moniker "gethistr8," I'd like to clarify that I am neither a b*&%@ nor a moron. I am someone who was insulted by the kitchen when your girlfriend decided to return the fries she ordered. I also apologized profusely to you, but of course, you probably don't remember that. Food Great!! But Waitress Caitlin an absolute Bit@$!! – My girlfriend and i have been here several times, and the brunch is great! It compares favorably with most places in the city. BUT.... Unfortunately, we went yesterday, and were the unlucky recipients of a new waitress - Caitlin. Avoid her at all costs! not what it used to be – Was one of my favorite neighborhood resaurants when it first appeared, but extra virgin has not withstood the test of time. Chewing gum stuck under the bar (which dislodged itself on my pants) and a waitress who had to go check what was in the nightly special lasagna (only to come back and repeat what was listed on the menu verbatim) about sums up the experience. Food was ok, but no where near the consistently simple and dilicious cuisine it previously offered.
Fabulous place for brunch – My favourite place for brunch. The restaurant is in a tiny, adorable street of West village. Bellinis and smoked salmon - egg benedict are a must. The only problem is that you can not seat as long as all the people of your group have not arrived, as the manager explained to me. However, after waiting for 30 minutes for my friend who was so late, the manager was very nice and gave us the first available outdoor table. Service was perfectly ok, and has always been each time I went back.
Great weekend brunch place. – I've been living in the west village for 10 years now and this is my favorite place in the hood. Friendly staff, cool atmosphere, delicious food and yummy drinks...what more could you ask for!
