Amazing Service!!!â My GF and I just bought 2 bicycles from Mr. C's, I picked up the Globe Roll 1 (black) and she picked up the Specialized Sirrus. Awesome! I had been planning on purchasing my first fixed-gear bike for a while, and walked into a few shops in Manhattan and Brooklyn. I eventually decided that I'd prefer to get my bike in Brooklyn because I love my borough and would rather support the Brooklyn economy if I could. Best in the Borough Regardless of ability - from novice to expert - for bikes in Brooklyn this is the place. I live in Park Slope with no shortage of bike shops but I choose to go here. Carlos is a hands-on owner who takes great care to really know your needs. When I recently upgraded he had me test ride a wide selection with no pressure to buy outside of my range. One of the best ive seen in selection and service!!!! I have been using Mr C's Cycles for over 5 years and have never had a bad experience as stated by others. Its rare to walk into a bike shop and find what your looking for already in stock. Most bike shops ive been to have to order the parts and that could sometimes take up to 1 week. Money Hungry Business Don't trust the salespeople there, they'll say anything to try and get you to buy something. I asked a salesperson working there if it would be worth it to spend about $260 on a BMX bike. When he thought that was about all I could spend he told me "there wasn't any difference" between that and another $350 bike. I ended up paying for the cheaper piece of crap and when I got home I googled the bike to see what other places were selling it for and found out that the bike was only worth about $150. Mr. C's: antidote to snooty bike sales people and limited selection Carlos and his crew are as courteous and concerned about their customers as any bike shop I've ever been to. Since buying a mountain bike there in 04, I have returned several times for other bikes and for their top-notch mechanics. Mr. C.- Great Bike Shop I have been using Mr. C. for almost 3 years and he, his staff and his shop are top notch â top service, top products and top customer relations. They are all professional and friendly. The shop is clean and welcoming. There is no bad attitude. I own several bicycles and Mr. C. takes care of them like they are his own babies. Think as many times as possible before you buy!! My friend bought a Pacific cycle Roadmaster bike model R4446WMOT there for 180 USD + tax in Jun 2006. He noted that the front rim and back rim of the wheels are different. He was told by the boss that the back rim was upgraded by company for free.
