OUTRAGEOUS – I signed up for a 6 am class in core fusion. On the phone, the employee was courteous and helpful and assured me that there was a class, told me who was teaching and assured me there was room in the class. When I arrived at 6 am today the SPA WAS CLOSED! THE DOOR WAS LOCKED AND NO ONE WAS THERE. When I called to complain I got little sympathy from the manager on duty. These people are not helpful, as other reviews have said. I would recommend you try a spa where someone is home.

The Best Facial in LA and NY! – I heard about Red, an esthetician working in New York, from a friend of mine that lives in London. I am a fashion editor who travels frequently to New York. I have received facials in LA and honestly; I never received more painless extractions. My skin simply glowed after my facial and it was fine for my anniversary night on the town with my husband. I want to take her back to LA with me! She's worth the 2500 miles; I understand why "N" travels from London to see her!

Worse than I would have imagined! – The staff was very nice and I did not have to wait, but the quality of the spa services was terrible. There were hairs left from my leg and bikini waxing. My eyebrows looked fine, thank goodness. There was a little nail polish beyond my toenails. My face was extremely irritated from the facial. I came for a regular facial and the facialist convinced me to get a longer and more expensive treatment. The peel was very uncomfortable and she used a product with an ingredient that I had told her... read more

Pushy Staff – During my appointment, the facialist kept trying to get me to add on to my basic facial. Even when I declined, she asked me several more times, telling me why I should pay extra and get these special services. Needless to say, this did not make for a relaxing experience. I can understand asking once, but when the client says no, they should drop it and move on.

Luxury and strength add up to an addictive exercise regime. – If a paralyzing dread of weight machines and treadmills keeps your sneakers in the closet, take a deep breath and head to Exhale. This Upper East Side spa and exercise sanctuary is a serene escape from the workaday world. Core Fusion--their highly touted mind-body fitness program--is taught along with yoga in two spacious dark-wood studios. The rest of the space is devoted to holistic spa services including massage, facials, nails, waxing and acupuncture.

GREAT SPA! – I dont understand all the other reviews, I loved this place. I took a Core Fusion class, which may have been one of the hardest workouts of my life, but it was my whole body in an hour. I didnt feel "wiped out" after either, which was great. The massage and facial were the best I've had in a long time. If you get a facial, make sure you add on the cool laser, my skin glowed for a week!

Aweful Experience! – The spa atmosphere is distracting and unorganized at best but the worst of all is the attitude of the employees, in particular the manager of the spa. I received a facial that cost $175 after which I had a very strong allergic reaction. When I called to ask for help all I got was there was nothing we can do attitide. The manager was very unsympathetic and on the verge of rudeness. I get spa treatments about twice a month and this is the worst experience I have ever had.

Nice Facilities – I received the back treatment w/ 50% off, but I thought it wasn't worth the price, not even w/ 50% off. It was overpriced! They hardly did anything for my back. I did go back for a Deep Tissue massage (also w/ a 50% off coupon). I asked for strong pressure & that is exactly what I got. The Deep Tissue was great, but I would not pay full-price for it. The facilities are really nice though. I would come back to try the Core Fusion sometime if I can somehow get 50% off of that as well.

So So Spa – I got a message & a facial yesterday, and overall it was average. my facial was great, very relaxing, an soothing, but when it came to my message, I had keep reminding the girl to ease up on her pressure....I wasnt too happy with the results, but it was ok....I didnt have a GREAT experience...and the money is not worth the service. I'ld only go back there for facials.
