Very busy but they have enough staff to quickly turn tables and keep your beverages filled! Had the ribs and chicken noodle soup. Ribs were tender and very saucy. Sauce was thick with a sweet tang - I could’ve done with a bit less sauce but they were decent. The chicken noodle soup was quite tasty.
A true local gem. The salads are entree sized and you’ll have trouble finishing them. Great pizzas, both thin crust and deep dish. Efficient service. Awesome burgers and delicious fries.
Go. Just go. The doorman at the Congress Hotel recommended it to me and a friend over 15 years ago while we were there for Midwest Band and Orchestra Clinic. I've been there every year I've gone to Midwest since. Yesterday I took my own family for their first time. It is excellent.
I was there with a group. They set up a buffet just for us. Things went rather slowly and it didn’t seem to be very organized. The food was very good except the beef on the skewers was very tough. The mini spinach pies were absolutely delicious. Those and the red velvet cake were the best parts of the meal. The ribs and chicken were very good, also.
