I have seen MANY eye care providers, and am so lucky we finally found Dr. Hopkin. His staff is very organized and kind, and is able to help monitor my potential glaucoma in addition to regular exams. I drive about 40 minutes to see this doctor and would drive longer. Phenomenal care all around.
This year, I had to switch eye doctors because Excel Eye Care of Texas stopped accepting VSP insurance. While I could have paid out of pocket, that would defeat the purpose of having insurance. I've been seeing eye doctors for over 45 years, and I can honestly say Dr. Hobkin is the best eye doctor I've ever encountered. The new place I visited was pleasant, but they aggressively pushed additional products and services, which I found frustrating.
