Absolutely SPECTACULAR.. I was there a week ago for alterations on adress for my grandma's funeral. Ms.Wendy and the gentleman were warm and inviting.. She said that she would have my garment ready the next day..She called me in about 3 hrs and said come pick up. It was PERFECT..She understood the assignment and I appreciate the service. 1000/10!!!
I am completely shocked by the experience we had here. I have used Excel Alterations in the past but, man was I disappointed this time. My husbands suit pants we’re all but ruined. Unwearable because the seems we’re unraveling upon pick up. The male owner was so rude throughout every encounter. Needless to say, we found a new tailor. I do not recommend unless you want your clothes ruined and an old man yelling at you.
She cut hemmed and took in my gown in one day! Very reasonable...
They have terrible attitudes. They are also expensive. I miss the old alteration drop off on broad st. In the laundry mat in front of the mall. They were good and they treated customers with respect. They wouldn't accept debit cards so I had to go all the way to my bank to get cash. I guess the cash only is a way to get around paying taxes....They also gave me my clothes back balled up in a used piggly wiggly grocery bag...I have never been to a seamstress or tailor and had my clothes returned. They are completely unprofessional. I called them on a Monday asking can they do an alteration. They told me to come on Wednesday 11am-4pm. When I came at 3:30 the door was shut and when I knocked I heard someone inside but they wouldn’t open the door. I called to make sure I had the right place and they told me a different address then the one I was referred to and that they weren’t taking anymore alterations for the day then hung up in my face. I wouldn’t go here ever again even if you paid me.
