This is the second time we’ve used Excel Alterations in Sumter, SC. Absolutely the best in Sumter! They are fast and they do an awesome job. I had three shirts that needed altered in the length and the in sleeves and they look amazing! I won’t go any place else. If you need professional and quick alteration, go see Excel Alterations at 202 Broad St. in Sumter. You will not be sorry!!! Hands down the best!!! ❤️
I am completely shocked by the experience we had here. I have used Excel Alterations in the past but, man was I disappointed this time. My husbands suit pants we’re all but ruined. Unwearable because the seems we’re unraveling upon pick up. The male owner was so rude throughout every encounter. Needless to say, we found a new tailor. I do not recommend unless you want your clothes ruined and an old man yelling at you.
Absolutely SPECTACULAR.. I was there a week ago for alterations on adress for my grandma's funeral. Ms.Wendy and the gentleman were warm and inviting.. She said that she would have my garment ready the next day..She called me in about 3 hrs and said come pick up. It was PERFECT..She understood the assignment and I appreciate the service. 1000/10!!!
They have terrible attitudes. They are also expensive. I miss the old alteration drop off on broad st. In the laundry mat in front of the mall. They were good and they treated customers with respect. They wouldn't accept debit cards so I had to go all the way to my bank to get cash. I guess the cash only is a way to get around paying taxes....They also gave me my clothes back balled up in a used piggly wiggly grocery bag...I have never been to a seamstress or tailor and had my clothes returned. Went there for a simple pants heming, knowing nothing about the process of what to do or how long it would take. The lady was really kind and it turns out that fittings are super quick too! Because it was a simple job, I was able to pick up the pants the next day which I wasn't expecting at all! It's cash only, but that wasn't an issue for me. I recommended this place to my friends and family too!
