I was hesitant to stay in this style of lodging. Was it going to be noisy? How loud will traffic be in the middle of the night? We stayed in the St John's Suite on the 3rd floor. It was huge and beautiful. It was way quieter than I expected both night and day. There were always snacks available. I missed where the complimentary baked goods were until after we went out to eat. Very pleasant guest house with personality, spacious rooms and common areas. Quiet and comfortable.
We stayed at this hotel as a family, and it was a fantastic experience. The kids loved the pool, and my partner and I enjoyed the spa and wellness area. The restaurant served delicious meals, and the breakfast was full of variety, even for picky eaters. The location made it easy to explore the city, yet the hotel itself felt peaceful and relaxing. The entire staff treated us with such kindness and made sure we had everything we needed. It’s rare to find a hotel that pleases both adults and children, but this one truly did.
I made a reservation eight months ago for a trip coming up this September and I just received notice from the establishment that they are canceling myself and my friends rooms. this is very inconvenient and poor service.
Wow! This place was.....so fancy. I felt like I was under dressed! I can see why they call it the guesthouse; i could totally envision Forest Gumps mom running the place or people like Elvis once-upon-a-time staying here! Please don't raise your prices, but I have to admit, they could easily charge $100 more per room IMO. My absolute favorite in my suite was the dual head shower!
