RecommendedA hidden gem! Passing through town & stopped in for take out lunch (the dining room was closed for COVID). Some of the best food I have had at a restaurant in a long time! I had butter beans, cabbage, and fried okra w/hush puppies. My hubby got fried chicken w/potato salad & fried okra. The portions were generous & everything was well seasoned. The sweet tea was made just right. Very friendly service & reasonable prices. If this restaurant were in my hometown it would be hard to get a table.

Best I've had in a long time my first time eating there was just a few days ago on 3/30/20 I had a trout and collards rice and gravy man I almost cried cause that took me back into time when my Mom and grandmother use to cook that southern homestyle food 🤩🤩I recommend everyone to stop there and eat they are the best and the staff is awesome and down to earth people I thought I was home
