In the 7 years I spent in Tallahassee, I lived in 4 different apartment complexes--Evergreens at Mahan is BY FAR the best. I wish I discovered this lovely place sooner! From the incredibly supportive leasing office staff, to the responsive maintenance team, to the kindness of my neighbors, I would recommend this apartment complex to anyone looking for a quiet, well-kept home away from the chaos of downtown Tallahassee/Collegetown. Great residence in Tallahassee!! The property is extremely well kept clean and quiet, with newer appliances and an amazing location that makes everything feel convenient and comfortable. The staff is genuinely friendly and welcoming, which is great. The amenities and pool are always well maintained, parking is never a hassle, and the overall atmosphere has such a relaxed, positive vibe. It’s honestly a place you can truly enjoy coming home to every day.
"I moved here based on the 4.3 star ratings, but my experience has been the complete opposite. This is some of the cheapest construction I have ever encountered. Living on the second floor feels like living through a constant earthquake, day and night. The floors and walls are so thin that I can hear every single footstep from neighbors, every door or window slam, and even their TVs. We didn’t have a great experience. We were constantly disturbed by the noise of the garage door opening and closing. We made several attempts to bring this to the property management’s attention, but no action was taken. Additionally, they gave us a hard time when we vacated by pointing out a few minor wear-and-tear issues in the property and made us pay around 800$. That was disappointing.
