RecommendedOur wedding was this past Saturday, January 9, 2021. We would highly recommend this venue for a wedding. Scott was great to work with and our wedding was beautiful. My new husband and I were just recently married at The Davenport and I cannot even begin to describe how beautiful the venue was! Inside and Out! From the curtain lights, to the chandeliers, to the beautiful staircase, and street lights outside covering the streets of Greer. The price was affordable, the venue was stunning, and Scott was SO easy to work with and get all preparations for our big day complete! I would recommend this location (and Scott) 1000x times over! The Davenport made our wedding great. The venue was perfect!
The adventure I partook in choosing the Davenport as my wedding venue began in January of this year. We went for a tour of the venue and completely fell in love with it. At this point, downtown Greer was definitely in a state of construction, but we were told it would be done by the time of our wedding, and it was. The Davenport was a beautiful venue for my son’s wedding. Scott was very accommodating and easy to work with. It was great to see how a lot of the businesses in Greer work together. Would recommend this location to anyone looking for a venue!!
This venue was perfect for our small intimate wedding. We love the elegance of this historic architectural work. The large chandeliers and brick walls are wonderful statement features.

I hosted a surprise baby shower for my wife at the Davenport on July 28th. Could not have been a better experience. From initial planning to final execution, everything was professionally handled and the event was flawless and absolutely stress free. Amen! Scott recommended Greer event rental and assisted this absolute novice in creating a wonderful setting and a magical day for my wife and newly adopted little girl. 5 stars in not enough.
