Amazing food and staff! First time here, but won't be my last!
I am not a vegetarian and do not like cauliflower but their fried cauliflower is wonderful and amazing, slightly and wonderfully spicy. I also loved their bacon corn chowder with crabmeat. But their beer selection made my day with a good selection of tart Gose or Berliner Weise style beers.
I would rank this among the top three meals of my life. To put it in perspective, they accommodated 600 folks for an event earlier in the day yet still provided an amazing meal service. This was the exact experience we were seeking while on vacation. The service went far above and beyond. I will be back if ever I make it back to Washington or Alexandria.

Thank you thank you 💕💕. Evening Star Cafe made our 46th anniversary so lovely. The food was beyond delicious and each person there went out of their way to make our night the best. We live in NH but visit Alexandria often. We will be back.
