Terrible doctor. 3 surgeries on the same area due to incompetence.
This is not a kind doctor. Very angry and rude. Belittled me and made me feel less than for warts.She wasn’t interested in helping - only selling me things I don’t need. You’re best to avoid Dr. Tan and her rude mouth.
Rudest most arrogant doctor I’ve ever met. Offered no help or guidance. Complete waste of time.
Wonderful knowledgeable and professional friendly Doctor. She is so passionate about her work, and come the day for surgery I knew I was in the best hands . Her team is amazing too all of the staff in the hospital too,
I am very pleased with Dr Tan. She was very professional, transparent, friendly and effective in my visits. The Naperville office is great as my visits were always on time.
Went in with painful Masses on bottoms of both feet. She was Rude, Not Compassionate, and made me feel uncomfortable. She told me get orthotics to smash the masses down. ouch!
I went in for severe plantar fasciitis pain. She told me she can’t give me any pain medication because I get migraines and those make pain meds not work on people. After she explained how inflamed my foot was, I asked if a cortisone shot was an option. She said, “no, nice try though.” Nice try for what exactly? Pain relief? I mean that’s what I was there for so not sure what that comment meant. In the end, all she was said get new orthotics and house shoes and go to PT. Don’t waste your time or money with her.
I visited Dr. Tan twice, once for plantar fasciitis and another for plantar warts I picked up from the gym shower. In both cases Dr. Tan was incredible. A conservative approach was recommended for my fasciitis which worked great and I did not expect such a dedicated response to address the warts which were resolved due to her exceptional care and approach, including a custom formulation of acids to treat them. Dr. Tan is funny with excellent bedside manners; I would go back to Dr. Tan for anything foot-related.
What a shame for Northwestern to have this doctor working there. I had a visit with her and she completely disregarded my concerns, got frustrated when being asked questions, and slammed the door on me without saying she was done with the visit. Horrible person working with people in the field of medicine. Take your time to find a humane doctor not a robot without feeling, arrogant, and mainly concerned about money and fame.
