No one ever expects and emergency! I found myself with a broken leg from the dog park significant enough that I needed surgery. Dr. Dougherty was amazing. We were able to get into his office quickly and I was in surgery the following afternoon. His explanation of the surgery, report to my family after surgery and ALL follow up appointments were completed with professionalism, warmth and a tremendous knowledge. Highly professional with excellent communication skills. Hip surgery went well with absolutely no complications.
He was absolutely wonderful with my 3 year old daughter who had broken her arm. He was very thorough and actually cared that she was healing properly and without having problems later in her life or while she grows. If you want to have the best he is definitely my recommendation.

Dr. Dougherty was wonderful before and after my 4 surgeries both explaining things to me but to my family as well. My experience with Dr Dougherty has been exemplary. He reattached my left quads. Having previously had this surgery twice before on my right quads in a 6 month period and under going roughly 18 months total of recovery and rehab under another doctor care, I can say that Dr Dougherty is far and beyond my expectations in care. Dr Dougherty is extremely skilled in the operating theatre and equally skilled in patient relations. There’s not one negative which could be applied.
