Has a 240v outlet installed in the garage for my Tesla mobile connector. Clean install, the outlet is right where I asked for it, and the breaker in the panel is labeled properly. Been using it every night for a few weeks and charging speeds are exactly what I expected.
Had a Wallbox put in the garage and it went smoothly. Tech got there on time and looked at where I wanted it mounted. My panel is on the opposite side from where the car parks so we had to figure out a conduit route. He gave me two options and we went with the one that kept the wire mostly hidden along the ceiling. got my level 2 charger put in last week and tom was great to deal with. quoted me over text after i sent a few pics of the panel and the spot in the garage. price was reasonable and he didnt try to sell me on stuff i didnt need. install took maybe 3 hours and the wiring looks clean, nothing sloppy. car charges way faster than the plug i was using before. also explained how the breaker works in case it ever trips on me.
breaker kept tripping every time i plugged the car in. they came out figured out the circuit was undersized, ran a proper line and added a 240v outlet. charges full overnight now.
EV TOM is amazing! I am genuinely impressed by Tom and his team's work. I've had dozens of quotes and just as many electricians out here, but his work is far and away the best. They came out with a day's notice, addressed every question and concern (ran out of space with my electric panel), I never felt like I was being sold something or he was being dishonest.
