Horrible customer service – The fitness center is not of a high quality at all. The business department is extremely rude when dealing with customer issues and completely unwilling to help in any way. I wish I had never joined and I hope that people in the area take their business elsewhere.
dirty, liars,scammers and voyers – Greg is a huge liar. He told ud there was child "care" for our Son. We signed on the dotted line and come to find out his idea of child "care" is a room for the child to hang out in unsupervised. I informed him he had mis-led us and he would not let us out of the contract. He has now called my home on a few occasions and threatened to have my paycheck "attached" by him. Cheap Sales Man – I got suckered in to a 6 month member ship by a cheap salesman. Told him We would only be in reno a few months. he said he would enroll us for 6 months & if we want to cancel sooner it would be no trouble. So now here it is 4 months later & we want to cancel our membership. went turned in our member cards. & this old fart in the main office says they wont cancel our membership no matter what his sales man promised. & they will continue billing my account no matter what I do. so people do not get suckered in... read more
best value for a great workout place!! – some friends referred us to european,so we got a free 2 week pass,which was great because we got to check it out before we joined,and there was no pressure to sign up until we were ready.they have the best price in town, lots of great equipment,pool, sauna,hot tub,aerobics and so much more.everything is as clean as you can expect in a gym that has constant use,and I notice they have a person takes care of any problems that arise in that respect.the people that work there are friendly ... read more
Both shady and shoddy, – I once 'won' a free month membership at this place, and got bad vibes right away. The day I show up to claim it, this creepy guy goes into his sales pitch about how if I turn in my month pass, and sign up for a year, he'll wave the enrollment fee. About this enrollment fee, he prefaced it by saying, "Know how most places are 2-300 dollars to sign up?" Guess what, no they are not. Member for over 5 years – I have been a member here for over 5 years. I was also a member at SportsWest and 24 Hour. Also Golds. European Fitness is not fancy at all, but who cares if you are going there to work out?? The other clubs were fine, but expensive for what I wanted, and many times just a preening or pick-up spot. WHAT A GREAT DEAL!!!! – We wanted folks to know that European Fitness Center is the best place in town to workout and to enjoy the whole spa area,which has a pool,sauna,inhalation room,and a hot tub!! Do not go here – This has to be one of the worst gyms in Reno. Out of the 7 or 8 treadmills they have, usually only 4 are working. Weights on machines are cracked and unusable or they stick together. Unbelievably dirty. And to top it off, they corner you into a year contract, so when you realize just how awful it is, you are forced to pay all your payments to get out of the contract or just stay at the gym, hating every moment of it. Renos best club – been a member of European for years and Ive never seen it looking so good. the spa area has been completely remodelled, showers,sauna,,steam room, around the pool is all new.just a pleasure to be there.if you are looking for a great place to work out and have a jaccuzzi and swim this is by far the best deal in town.
