break your routine, drive to P-ville – This place is wonderful!!! Where else can you get rabbit or schnitzel? (both are delicious, so is the chicken paprikash). The beer selection is impressive. The last time I went was for my birthday, and the waiter talked us into more desserts than we needed--but I'm so glad he did--they were all fresh and good!! The atmosphere is home-y, but nice. A great place to take parents or other family members. Downtown P-ville location is charming.
Wow! – I went there after reading the article in the Chronicle, not knowing what entirely to expect.. It took some finding due to the fact it is off the beaten path.. but it was WELL WORTH the effort! The atmosphere alone was worth the trip! I simply cannot believe that two people alone created such a wonderful little hideaway! My greatest fear now is that I will never be able to be seated because the food is just THAT good! Try the Chicken Paprikas! Heavenly! Desserts? Oh man.. I can say goodbye to diets forever!
Great Hungarian, Austrian and German Foo – I'm originally from Germany, by moving to the US I found it is extremly hard to find really good Austrian or German food. Don't get me wrong found a couple of them in the area, but this is the first with a nice not beer garden ambience. Cool this is not only Hungarian, it also has some German and Austrian favorites.
