European Auto Service should be recognized as one the preeminent service, repair and restoration shops in California. John and his team did a phenomenal job on bringing my 1961 Mercedes 190sl to better than new condition with exceptional bodywork, a full factory authentic paint job and factory original leather upholstery. They also went through the engine and assured it ran like a Swiss watch! Very impressed with their effort to PPI a Bentley. Way beyond what I expected, I even asked them the night before to do more for an additional fee. They suggested that what they always do for a PPI would be sufficient. They were right, but could have made more money from me and did not. So HONEST and thorough. Clearly a cut above.

I brought my vehicle to this shop equipped with a detailed, structured diagnostic breakdown of the error codes and mechanical symptoms to assist their technicians. Instead of a professional intake process, the paperwork was intercepted by an individual outside who later identified himself as the 'Collision Manager.' Lacking the technical literacy to understand engine diagnostics and EVAP codes, his response was to mock the documentation. A very kind and highly professional team, I recommend them to everyone. My Maserati Spyder urgently needed a service. They were extremely busy, yet still managed to fit me in on a Saturday with a short deadline. They did an excellent, professional job, and from now on I will only take my car to them.
